Stuttgart
Stuttgart is the capital of the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg. The city is located in the picturesque valley of the Neckar River, one of Germany's largest wine regions. For centuries, up until the 19th century, Stuttgart was home to counts and kings of Wuerttemberg. They left behind a rich legacy of luxurious palaces, which later became government buildings and museums.
The list of attractions in Stuttgart is unique-there is something interesting for everyone: diverse museums, stunning architectural monuments, picturesque parks, original modern buildings, etc. The automotive industry is also a separate topic.
In Stuttgart, Karl Benz invented the first automobile, and Gottlieb Daimler created the first motorcycle. The headquarters of Mercedes-Benz and Porsche are located here, as well as modern museums dedicated to these famous brands. It's no wonder that many refer to this city as Germany in miniature-indeed, there is much to see in Stuttgart.
